Delay in notifications

I've never been notified immediately when my camera detects motion and starts recording. I'll get a notification between 1 to 7 minutes after movement is detected. How can I be reliably notified immediately when the camera detects motion?

  I have the same issue. It’s not that there’s a delay in notification, it just doesn’t notify you are until the clip is complete. I don’t like the set up either.
