I have the same issue. It’s not that there’s a delay in notification, it just doesn’t notify you are until the clip is complete. I don’t like the set up either.

Ability to lengthen clips
Currently on some smart people detection clips I get a subject walking towards my car......2 seconds.....then the video cuts off.... Can we find a way to set the video to 10 second clips?
