If you have forgotten your username or password please take the steps below to have your username sent to you, or to have a password reset email sent to you. These will be sent to the email address under which your account was created.
To recover your username:
Go to app.isecurityplus.com
The above link will open a new window
Click: Forgot Your Password from beneath the Login button
Next click: Forgot Username? from beneath the Send button
This will bring you to a very short form asking you for the email address under which your account was created. If correct, the system will send you an email with your username. You can use this to recover your password if needed.
If you do not receive an email, please follow these steps:
1. Check your spam
2. Try using an alternative email address that you may have set your camera up with. If you aren't receiving an email to your email address with your username, you must have used a different email address when you created the account initially.
In order to reset your password, you will need to know both the user name and email address you used to set up your account. If you enter either of them incorrectly, you will not receive an email.
You can reset your password through either the app or via the web.
On the login page of the app, you can hide your Keyboard or tap and hold on the blank space and swipe up to reveal the reset password link. Alternatively you can swipe the page to the left for the password reset form.
To reset the password through the web:
- Head to: https://app.isecurityplus.com
- Link will open in a new window
- Click "Forgot Login Details" from beneath the Login button.
- Enter the username and email address that you used when creating your account
The system will send you a special link and instructions to perform your password reset.
Please allow several minutes for the email to arrive. If after an extended period you still haven't received the password check your spam and trash folders. This is important as we have no way to change your password for you.
If necessary please repeat the process and be sure of every key press to ensure you enter the information correctly and are not allowing auto-correct to interfere. Again, we have no means to access your password, reset it, or grant a temporary password. However; if you contact customer service we can try to assist you to see if you have created an account.
If after going through the above you are still unable to recover your account you may have to create a new account and re-install your cameras to this new account.
