In-app On/Off button for cameras
This may seem like an obvious request. Please add a button for each camera in the app to turn them on and off. Currently there is no way to remotely turn off your cameras! This seems so strange, as the Amazon cameras and other competitors have it as one of the first control buttons in their apps.
How do you turn these cameras off?!?!

Yes this a major design flaw! Its ridiculous these cameras cant be turned off? Tend Secure customer support told me that the recommended method use is to enable motion detection when you go out, and disable motion detection when you return home. And I was told that if I was concerned about live streaming video while I was home to simply turn the camera to face a wall, or put a box over it?! (seriously thats what they told me in an email). Obviously thats NOT an adequate solution (amateur hour).
These cameras should have the ability to be turned on / off via a dedicated switch or via the app. Powering on/off at the powerpoint will apparently damage the camera (again thats according to customer support). So the ONLY suitable use-case for this camera is a scenario where it needs to be on all the time, forever. Which is not how the majority of people would want to use this camera.
Its a major design flaw that I hope they fix because in every other way the Lynx is a good camera. Would like to see a response from the Tend Secure guys to this.
