CFH-V15 Pan and Tilt Functions Disabled
After over a decade of working properly, the pan and tilt functions for all of my CFH-V15 cameras are no loner functional. I contacted support and was initially told the model didn't support pan and tilt (not true). In a follow up response I was informed: "There are CFH-V15 Kodak cameras that do not support this feature anymore. When investing, it looks like the feature was removed from all CFH-V15 after an update to match other cameras. There are CFH-V15 Kodak cameras that do not support this feature anymore. There is no way to reverse this."
I'm hoping someone can explain why the pan and tilt functionality was disabled or the need for whoever controls updates to go with a lowest common denominator approach. Cost? Please share any additional details if available. Thanks

I am having exactly the same issue and I want to thank Mr. Emmerson for raising it here.
The pan/tilt function was working perfectly. It seems to me that whatever software upgrade was applied could simply have retained the necessary code.
The cameras were sold with this functionality, I believe with lifetime service I may add.
Please fix this issue.

My understanding is Kodak support for this model ended when the manufacturer, eBuyNow, ceased trading in 2023. I’m not sure how tendinsights took over support or if they’re being compensated for supporting this model. While I’m upset about losing the pan and tilt functionality, I appreciate being able to set up and access my 5 CFH-V15 cameras via the security+ app. I assume it’s only a matter of time before the app will no longer be supported and the cameras will be obsolete. I will miss the free monitoring service option which was my primary reason I purchasing these cameras.
